Being tired, i tried to dig into the issue myself and tried to check the status online and found that they verify our existence in this country through a system called save and when i check the case number it said 'additional information required' i tried to check more about it but it was a dead end. If you lost the uscis receipt number for a recently submitted case and if you paid the fee with a personal check, you may be able to obtain the uscis receipt number by checking the endorsement on your personal check through your online bank records I have personally done this for several of our cases and have obtained the receipt number on the endorsement part of the check, prior to obtaining. With the case status on the uscis website says step 3 of 4 (completed)
