Ode to Hurricane Richard

Hurricane Rich. Slayer of hurricanes for whom tropical depressions quiver in fear.

"Warn them not to exceed 70MPH." his eyebrow raised over the foam of a beer.

"Or I will wield my considerable thoughts to stem their pressures and alter their spins"

Bringing order to chaos, tranquility to the waters and calm to the winds.

There are those who doubt, there are powers of this kind

That a man with his brain can bring storms into line.

When with all the wonder and miracles our technology can bring

The folks at the National Hurricane Center can't DO a thing

So open your mind and put your mental shoulder with his

And maybe this season we can beat this hurricane biz.

It will be a storm free Sea if he can, if he can't

You'll be amused by a crazy man's rant

So read though the summer, track the storms and be entertained

And maybe the lesson is what you can change when using your brain!
