08/16/2008 7:31 AM MDT Iselle has degenerated into a tropical depression as it turns to the NW just south of the Sorcorro Islands. TD Iselle is expected to quietly 'go away' without making landfall. Iselle is about 310 miles south of Cabo San Lucas. No further updates will be made to this information. Automated information below and right will be continually updated from the NHC.
Tropical Depressions Iselle is currently located near 18.7N 111.6W and is moving 340° at 04kts. Central barometric pressure is estimated at 1006Mb and winds are 30kts with gusts to 40kts. Forecasts call for TD Iselle to continue to dissipate and turn more to the west over the next 4 days.
Tropical Depression 10E was formed on the morning of 08/12 210miles SSW of Manzanillo, Mexico. TD10E was upgraded to Tropical Storm Iselle on the afternoon of 8/12, some 480 miles SE of Cabo San Lucas. On Friday, 7/15 Iselle stalled over the Socorro Islands and in the 9PM MDT forecast, was downgraded to a tropical depression.
