09AM 07/01/08 Cristina is now a tropical depression moving west into the Central Pacific Basin. Graphics and automated NHC information below will be continually updated, but now further updates will be made to this page until historical data is available.

09AM MDT 06/30/08 Cristina has diminished to a tropical depression and continues moving west into the Central Pacific. TD Cristina is forecast to maintain depression status as it moves west. The system is expected to pass well south of the Hawaiian Island chain. Tropical Depression Christina is about 1515 miles SW of Cabo San Lucas.

Currently located near 14.3N 131.2W the tropical depression is moving 270 at 10kts is expected to continue along this course until it dissipates in the Central Pacific some time toward the middle of next week. Winds are currently 30kts with gusts to 40kts and central barometric pressure is estimated at 1005Mb.Cristina is expected to diminish to a tropical depression later today. The storm is expected to move west into the Pacific and poses no threat to the Baja peninsula.
