Tropical Storm  Juliette Steers Well West of Baja California Sur


Information on Tropical Storm Juliette

09AM MDT 10/01/07 Tropical Storm Juliette continues to move NNW, parallel to the Pacific coast of Baja Sur. some 350 miles WSW of Cabo San Lucas. The storms current position is 121.7N 115.4W and movement is 325° at 08kts. Central barometric pressure is estimated at 1002Mb and winds are 40kts with gusts to 50kts. Tropical Storm Juliette is believed to have past it's peak and is expected to dissipate by Thursday, west of baja, without making landfall.

Tropical Storm Juliette became the 10th named storm of the 2007 Eastern Pacific Hurricane Season in the 3PM release from the NHC on 09/29. TD14E evolved from a tropical low about 550 miles south of Cabo San Lucas in the evening hours of 09/28.
