Tropical Storm Estelle Eastern Pacific August 19-26, 2004

Historical Data Max Winds 60kts Tropical Storm
Tracking Info

Tropical Storm Estelle formed 1275 miles ESE of the Hawaiian Islands

Estelle struggled to achieve tropical storm status on the morning of August 18, 2004. Shear winds prevented Estelle from gathering additional strength in the warmest waters. On August 22, Estelle was downgraded to a Tropical Depression

Landfall of this storm is not expected at this time. Forecasts continue to indicate that Estelle will pass south of the Hawaiian Islands and begin degrading within the next 24 hours.

Estelle is now in the forecast region of the Central Pacific Basin. Click here for additional information on Tropical Storm Estelle from the National Hurricane Center.
