MST It will feel a lot like summer today across much of Baja with temps in the upper 80's in Baja Sur and in the upper 70's in Baja California. Winds in the Sea will be from the WNW and are expected to blow to 20kts from the WSW after sunset today in the northern Sea and tomorrow night from the WSW in the southern Sea to 16kts. There is a trough (orange arrow) moving east away from the northern end of the Sea of Cortez. There is a cold front (blue arrow) that will not move south enough to affect Baja. We are now moving into a more stable weather period for Baja and our forecasts may begin to seem redundant, but that is because every day becomes a very nice day for the next three month as temperatures warm. It is a great time to come visit Baja.
With the release of the Mexico Travel Warning by the Department of Homeland Security on 3/14, we have revised our information as it relates to travel in Baja. The Warning is carefully worded and should be read with equal care.
