About San Jose del Cabo - Los Cabos
San Jose del Cabo is located about 14 miles east of Cabo San Lucas. San Jose del Cabo was the major city at the tip of Baja until Cabo emerged just a few decades ago.
Many of the international resorts have build along the corridor leading from Cabo to San Jose. San Jose del Cabo itself has several large hotel/resorts and a new marina. There are many smaller hotels and some excellent restaurants in town

Significant shopping is available and a new mall is under construction. The airport is located just outside of town.
San Jose del Cabo has a resort atmosphere. It is an interesting blend of Baja/Mexico and the more Americanized lifestyle of Cabo San Lucas.
Most of the Baja California Sur golf courses are located in this area.
Todos Santos is located nearly equidistant from Cabo San Lucas and La Paz on Mexico Hwy 19. Small markets are available for day to day items. Major shopping is done in La Paz or Cabo.
The area remains cooler throughout the year from the effects of the Pacific breeze.
