CostaBaja Hosts Carnaval La Paz Celebrities
Carnaval 2012 is history, but for Mexican singer/songwriter Espinoza Paz and actress/singer Maribel Guardia their visit to La Paz was accented by a visit to the CostaBaja Resort. Enjoying a sunset at the CostaBaja Beach Club the two artists and their entourages were greeted by Arturo Pena, Mr. Arturo Peña, Director of Operations, Obet Montiel, Beach Club Manager and Michael Flores Homeowners Executive.
Espinoza Paz was perhaps the biggest act to perform at this years Carnaval La Paz. His Banda style (the country and western music of Mexico) is very popular here in Baja and throughout Mexico. His performance at the municipal stadium was to standing room only.
Costa Rican born Maribel Guardia performed on the main stage along the Malecon to the delight of the Carnaval throngs. Her career spans many years and her talents have made her a popular singer, actress and TV personality not only in Mexico but much of Latin America.
Both artists were guests at the VistaMar luxury condos which overlook the Bay of La Paz and the Sea of Cortez.
Charging Stations for Golf Carts
Electric Golf Carts are the preferred means of quick and eco-friendly transportation around the CostaBaja Resort property and now it is even easier for CostaBaja residents to keep their carts juiced up as they motor about the resort.
Located near the fountain in the Marina area and in the cart parking area in front of the Beach Club, residents can charge up while relaxing poolside or while enjoying diner at one of the fine restaurants located in the Marina area.
Sporting Activities on the Beach at CostaBaja
The beautiful blue/green waves of the Sea of Cortez that lap gently onto the beaches of the CostaBaja Resort are natures playground. Whether you are a resident or guest at the resort you can enjoy some great water sports without ever leaving the property.
Fun Baja manages the fleet of water toys that include paddle boats, sailing catamarans and kayaks. The usually placid waters in front of the resort make for an inviting place to play in the Sea.

On March 11th and again on March 25, the Organic Market and Crafts Fair will return to the Marina area. Come out and support this new event and pick up some local produce or unique craft from local artists.
