Sports Program for Cabo Kids Seeking Support
Sponsor a team; the under-privilaged children of Baja Sur are waiting for your support!
The Foundation Ray Thomas A.C., Mundo Star and Y.E.S (U.S non-profit) have now started working with Los Cabos Children’s Foundation A.C. (a Mexican Assoc. Civil (non-profit)) so that you may now receive a tax write off in Mexico from The Los Cabos Foundation or from Y.E.S in the U.S.A. for your charitable donations for the kids sports programs. The poor children of Baja Sur as well as donors to the kids programs now benefit even more by helping sponsor these children in sports programs in La Paz and the Los Cabos area, for now. These foundations are planning in the future to expand these programs to more of Baja and Mexico in general.
These children’s sports programs have been going on for 19 years now and are growing much faster with the cooperation of so many Non-profit organizations and sponsors in Baja joining together to help sponsor these teams, donate equipment, coaching as well as for the food and anti graffiti programs. To sponsor an entire soccer team costs 2000.00 pesos per year! And it helps these organizations teach sports such as soccer and baseball, feed the children a good breakfast, clean up the graffiti and trash while your company receives great public exposure through their custom team shirts and additional publicity provided year round.
Currently there are 500 boys and girls and 64 teams being sponsored in Los Cabos and 112 teams in La Paz with a total of more than 1400 kids participating. These Foundations, organizations, along with the very much appreciated sponsors are really making a difference to these very poor children of Baja Sur. This group of 
charitable foundations include other programs where the children clean up the trash and paint out the graffiti of their schools as well as other public areas while learning how damaging this type of vandalism is and how it literally affects them directly.
Right now when you sponsor a soccer team or teams you really are helping keep the children off the streets while teaching them; team organizational skills, benefits of good exercise, cleaning up the cities and teaching them pride in their schools and towns. This has proven to be a very powerful method; as schools that have been painted out and have teams have not been “tagged” or vandalized again.
Companies such as these have already been sponsoring teams or donating equipment or services …. These organizations are also run by mostly volunteers with just a few paid employees so you can be sure almost all of your donations go directly to benefit the children.

Youth Education Sports was founded by the President of Y.E.S., Ray Thomas in 2002 when the interests of Children of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico grew and began to expand into other parts of the world.
