Eco-Tourism - La Paz is the gateway to the Sea of Cortez and the islands surrounding. Activities include kayaking, camping & scuba diving.

Fishing - Open panga fishing is the most popular, a short distance from La Paz in the Cerralvo Channel and around Espiritu Santos.

Wind Surfing - Winter brings boarders from around the world to La Ventanna.

Medical Facilities - Modern healthcare available, some of the best in Baja California.

Cultural - Concerts, plays, movies (eng/esp), art exhibits, regional sport events and museums.

With a reputation for tranquility it's a great place to unwind. Restaurant fare ranges from $5-$25 per person with wide variety. Limited air service with 3 Mexican carriers. Best deal is TJ to La Paz.
