What to Bring When Renting a Villa for a Cabo Vacation

You have planned to rent a villa for a special vacation getaway in Cabo San Lucas and I am sure many questions will come to mind. One of them for sure is; what to bring?
Well, let me pleasantly surprise you! There isn’t much you need to bring other than your beach clothes and any necessary personal items.
Cabo villa vacation rentals are simple and uncomplicated to plan. You can make it as elementary or as sophisticated as you wish. A Cabo villa vacation rental is so versatile; you have so many options that you will have fun preparing for it.
Most villas for rent in Los Cabos are equipped with top of the line appliances, kitchen staples, towels, beach towels, linens, and are fully furnished; many have clothes irons, hair dryers and some even offer beach chairs and umbrellas to take with you when you go to one of Los Cabos´ secluded beaches.
Every Cabo villa is different, so I suggest you ask your villa host or agent, what exactly the specific villa you are interested in includes. Luxury Villas in Los Cabos are generally peoples´ vacation homes. Owners include blenders, coffee pots, entertainment centers and lots of other amenities for their guests to enjoy; some even have your favorite movies or music. You will feel it is your home away from home.
Don’t want to move a finger while on vacation? Again, a villa vacation rental includes the options of cleaning either everyday or at least once a week. It will depend what villa you choose, but you will always have the options of having cleaning service everyday or as many days as you would like.
The setting and location of most of these Cabo villas are carefully chosen so you really feel you are in a vacation property like no other. The Cabo villa vacation is an experience that will linger in your thoughts for many years to come.

Now, getting back to your main question, what to bring?
Make sure you bring your passport. Cabo San Lucas is in Baja California Sur, Mexico, a country that requires you to show your passport when you enter Mexico and when you return home.
Of course bring any of your own prescription medicines and or health supplements that you may need as not always are the same products available here nor do you want to waste your time looking for small items that you may bring with you.
You might also consider bringing your own music, movies or MP3 player to use in most of the villas entertainment centers. You may also want to bring your own laptop as many of the villas do have internet connections and this way you can easily stay in touch with friends and family while on your vacation; yet hopefully not to work!
Also bring plenty of sun block, sun glasses and a wide brimmed hat. The sun in Cabo is really strong almost year round. Sometimes the breeze is very cool and fresh and you won´t realize what the sun has done to your skin. So come prepared for plenty of sunshine yet you might want to include a light weight wind breaker jacket, depending on what time of year you visit Cabo, the winds can cool you off at night, especially if you have gotten a little too much sun that day.
In general you will want to bring very casual clothing even for the night life and or dinning at the nicer restaurants. Some of the higher end places to go at night are asking that men wear collared shirts, pants and possibly no sandals (that you will want to use most of the time) but the dress codes are not very strictly enforced as they truly appreciate your patronage and realize you are here to relax and be casual.
Also don’t forget the camera! You will want to catch many of these great moments to share with others and to remind you of the great experiences of vacation you had in Los Cabos.
Last, but not least, bring at least one bathing suit and a pair of shorts. Whether you stay by the pool in your private Cabo villa or you decide to go beach hopping, these are items you will definitely need and may in fact find yourself wearing almost exclusively.
So as I stated in the beginning of this article, there is very little you really have to bring on your Cabo Villa Vacation Getaway. You may want to make sure to extra room in your suitcase for there is great shopping to be had all over Los Cabos and people generally want to take at least a few small items back with them. If you do want to purchase larger items more of the stores with art and furniture items for example do handle shipping and the packaging to other countries.
