Hotel Mar de Cortez in Downtown Cabo San Lucas…
The Hotel Mar de Cortez will be reopening October 1 after being closed for the month of September for annual maintenance work. They look forward to providing you affordable and convenient accommodations in downtown Cabo San Lucas.

As one of the first three hotels in Cabo San Lucas, back in the late 60’s and early 70’s, when Cabo was indeed a sleepy little fishing village, ‘the Mar’ continues to maintain much of the Baja charm of old that draws regular and new clientele each and every year. The owners, the staff, and even the reservations office have maintained the same high standards of service that is necessary to keep folks returning year after year after year.
90-air conditioned rooms, beautiful swimming pool, Spencer’s restaurant, bar, great location, and prices that do not change every year, but possibly every four or five years or more are the main attraction.
Mar de Cortez has four different room types give options to price and style and location. The Standard Rooms are just like they were ‘way back when’ and as a result guests demand them because of their charm and unique style and location in and around the courtyard.
