Cabo San Lucas Fishing Report - El Budster

| 7/6/2008 | Fishing on the World FamousEL BUDSTER. Alan Chong from
Elkins Park, PA catches and releases a 120 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught
on a live Pacific Mackerel and takes 45 minutes to get to the boat. They
fished 14 - 16 miles out from Cabo. The water temp. was 77 - 78 degrees . |
| 7/5/2008 | The World Famous EL BUDSTER does not catch any fish today.
Fishing on the EL BUDSTER II. David Davis all the way from Arkansas. Catches
and release a 160 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific
Mackerel and takes 55 minutes to get to the boat. He also catches a 20 lb.
DORADO. They fished 12 - 14 miles straight out of Cabo. The water temp. was
76 - 78 degrees. |
| 7/4/2008 | There were no charters for the EL BUDSTER boats today.
Everyone gets a day off including the fish. Charters to resume tomorrow.

| 7/3/2008 | Both the EL BUDSTER & EL BUDSTER II go fishing today. But
neither is able to catch a fish. Both boats see a number of STRIPED MARLIN.
But are unable to get them to bite. They fished 14 - 17 miles out from Cabo.
The water temp. was 75 - 77 degrees. |
| 7/2/2008 | Another GREAT day of fishing in Cabo San Lucas. John Tibbs
finishes off his fourth day of fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. By
catching & releasing a 100 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live
Pacific Mackerel and takes 35 minutes to get to the boat. On their second
day on the EL BUDSTER II. Bryan Woodrow and his daughter Sage have a day to
remember. They combine to catch & release FIVE STRIPED MARLIN. ( 80 - 100 -
120 - 130 - 160 lbs. ) Two were caught by Bryan and three by Sage. They were
all caught on live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting times were ( 20 - 35 - 45
- 45 - 50 min. ) All the STRIPED MARLIN were caught 14 - 16 miles straight
out from Cabo.The water temp. was 76 - 78 degrees. |
| 7/1/2008 | For the third day in a row on the World Famous EL BUDSTER.
The John Tibbs party catches and releases a STRIPED MARLIN. This marlin is
about 110 lbs. and is caught on a blue & white feather. This feather is used
for trying to catch larger DORADO. The fighting time was 45 minutes. On the
EL BUDSTER II . John & Jennifer Samsel from Woodbridge, NJ combine to catch
& release a 90 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It is caught on a live Pacific Mackerel
and takes 35 minutes to get to the boat. Both marlin were caught about 14 -
16 miles out of Cabo. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. |
| 6/30/2008 | Back on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The John Tibbs party
catches and releases two more STRIPED MARLIN. ( 50 & 120 lbs. ) The first
was caught on a green & blue lure. The second was caught on a live Pacific
Mackerel. The fighting times were 20 & 45 minutes. On the EL BUDSTER II.
Recent Alpine, CA hight school graduate Sage Woodrow catches a very nice 50
lb. DORADO. Way to go Sage. She will be starting college next year ay UCSB.
What a great way to start the summer. All the fish were caught at the 95
Reef. The water temp. was 76 - 77 degrees. |
