Marinas in the Sea of Cortez - Marina CostaBaja in La Paz


Cruising the Sea of Cortez has been popular for many years. The 250 Slip Marina is operated by renown BellPort Group based in Newport Beach, CA., which operates marinas in San Diego and Newport Beach California, Deer Harbor in Washington, Newport Harbor Shipyard and 3 in Japan Built by Bellingham Marine, the stable and wide concrete docks are laid out in two basins with slips ranging from 30’ to 200.

La Paz has particular dates to celebrate, Carnaval in the early months of the Year, La Paz Foundation festivities in May, Independence day celebration in September, it hosts the Baja 1000 off road race every 3 years in November and many fishing tournaments around the season. Marina CostaBaja has weekly celebrations and gatherings to add up some spice to the ambiance, Tuesdays a movie is played in the commercial area for the tenants and visitors, Thursdays a live band will delight the evening, Fridays and Saturdays you can always expect a live band at the local Palapa Bar Christmas holydays events are creating expectation in the locals as the festivities were a big success in the 05 celebration, lights, piñatas, Christmas trees and choir

CostaBaja Resort and Marina has a handful of 1 and 2 Bedroom condos available completed and has recently released Vista Mar Residences area project and a 18-hole Golf course to be designed by Gary Player.

How can you get to La Paz? Daily flight from Tijuana and other cities in mainland Mexico are available, Alaska airlines have 3 flights a week from LA and Delta is expected to initiate daily flights from Los Angeles mid December, looking for an adventure, Highway 1 has quite off them for you if you have the time to drive the peninsula, it will embrace you if you can take the time to enjoy it and experience the breath taking scenarios, the changes in the flora and fauna that you will encounter are just astonishing.
